Lyrics: Inspired by Marilyn Manson’s album Holy Wood from 2000
The small sleepy town, San Fernando de Cutud, in The Philippines awakens during Easter week. Good Friday is the highlight of the year, when Jesus Christ’s crucifixion is reenacted by the men as a gesture of gratitude. The soundtrack consists of rearranged lyrics originally authored by the pop king of Goth, Marilyn Manson. Through this music two extremes overlap.
