“Blood feathers” a metal cage with gracefully curved lattice, which hangs in the park and glows yellow in the sun. The cage has an inherent function as a swing. The work is inspired by the 1934 film “Zou Zou”, in which the performer Josephine Baker sits in a large cage and sings like a canary being held captive. As a supplement to the work, Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen performs her performance “X is a Tree”, where she takes the audience on a walk to selected trees in the park. She personifies the trees and connects each of them with a love affair. When love is over, the memories live on in the trees and get new life as a story. (Jonatan Wejnold)
